🏡 The house
The house has the holy trinity: Aircon, dishwasher, and bath tub! It’s a 3 bed (but only 2 used at bedrooms - bedroom #3 is the living room) and 1 bathroom with huge front and back yards complete with chickens, compost, native plants, veggie planters, and mulberry tree. There’s a small tool shed, and a bigger back shed. There are lots of mature trees filled with birds, including carnaby’s and red tailed black cockatoos. The house is a really cosy and welcoming space (with a wood fire in winter! ), friends say it has a very down south feel. There is driveway parking and an external PowerPoint for EV charging.

🛏️ The room
Ginormous master bedroom (4. 7x3. 1m) with morning sun and a (decorative) fireplace. There’s heaps of room for desk/couch/creative space as well as a king or queen bed. The room is unfurnished - the rest of the house is furnished but it’s a pretty big place and there’s room to make it your own.

👋 The housemate
You’ll be sharing with one person - I’m a 35yo project manager at a not for profit. I love spending time in the garden learning about permaculture, cooking, with the horse I lease at Randwick stables, or curled up with a book. I’m a non-smoker. Shared chats over a wine welcomed, quiet time respected. You’ll also be sharing with a talkative and snuggly indoor cat (Leila), and three friendly outdoor chickens.

🤞 About you
You’ll be LGBT friendly, a non smoker, and preferably just one person - not a couple. The agent will need to check your rental record to have you as an approved resident - the landlord is a reasonable person (he has been happy for me to improve the property including planting a native garden on the verge) so this won’t be a drama. Ideally you’ll be looking for a long term place to stay and make home.
The owner has approved another inside cat in the past, so that might be a possibility if they were friendly with other cats!

Rent is $360/wk, paid fortnightly, plus half the bills as they come. Lease runs through to April 2027.
